St John ACT is a not-for-profit organisation that provides premium first aid services, training and community care services.
Service Description 

St John Ambulance ACT provides a range of quality first aid training to the public and businesses within Canberra. The training gives participants the skills, knowledge and confidence to successfully treat common injuries and possibly save a life.

Their first aid training courses include:

  • Provide First Aid (previously known as Senior First Aid), teaching essential skills to help an ill or injured person at work or in the home
  • CPR, teaching skills needed to revive someone who is unconscious and not breathing normally using Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Defibrillation
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis in the Workplace, teaching skills to recognise and respond to asthmatic or anaphylactic emergencies (including the use of inhalers and adrenaline auto-injectors)
