Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health and Community Services is an Aboriginal community controlled primary health care service operated by the Aboriginal community of the ACT whose primary purpose is to provide culturally safe and holistic health services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of the ACT and surrounding areas.
Service Description
Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health Service (WNAHS) run a Chronic Health Care program to help manage chronic disease and promote healthy living. The program has a particular focus on assisting people with diabetes, or those at risk of developing diabetes.
