Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT) is a non-government, non-profit health promotion charity working to improve the sexual and reproductive health of the Canberra community.
Service Description
Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT) offers a holistic, confidential and respectful sexual and reproductive health services, this includes:
- Contraceptive advice, information and services
- IUD’s and other long acting contraceptive options
- Cervical screening
- Canberra Menopause Centre (providing assessment and management of menopause symptoms)
- Unplanned Pregnancy Counselling Service
- STI (Sexually Transmissible Infection) testing, treatment and advice
- Blood borne virus and HIV testing
- Emergency Contraception (the 'Morning After' Pill)
- Breast checks and awareness education
- Fertility issues and pre-conception advice
- Sexual difficulties and sexuality education
- PrEP information, advice and prescription
