Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT) is a non-government, non-profit health promotion charity working to improve the sexual and reproductive health of the Canberra community.
Service Description 

Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT) offers a holistic, confidential and respectful sexual and reproductive health services, this includes:

  • Contraceptive advice, information and services
  • IUD’s and other long acting contraceptive options
  • Cervical screening
  • Canberra Menopause Centre (providing assessment and management of menopause symptoms)
  • Unplanned Pregnancy Counselling Service
  • STI (Sexually Transmissible Infection) testing, treatment and advice
  • Blood borne virus and HIV testing
  • Emergency Contraception (the 'Morning After' Pill)
  • Breast checks and awareness education
  • Fertility issues and pre-conception advice
  • Sexual difficulties and sexuality education
  • PrEP information, advice and prescription
